KoiosTitan was founded on the basis of the experience gained by the Cooperative ‘Wij Bouwen voor Morgen’ in closing raw material chains. The ‘Coöperatie Wij Bouwen voor Morgen’ (WBVM) was formed in 2010 from the idea that specialist organizations in the
Netherlands can jointly realise the better solutions for the sustainability challenges that we face.
The Cooperative does this by forming supply chains of suitable parties to solve a problem or realize a project.
In recent years, WBVM has formed supply chains to free scarce materials from IT equipment, consumption meters and to develop a process to make new circular products from Bakelite. This process is now industrially applied in Belgium.
WBVM has conducted a great deal of research with partners into the processing of all composite materials into new, high-quality, and circular products. A unique technology has been developed that is protected worldwide. KoiosTitan has obtained the exclusive rights to
use this technology.
In order to realize the upscaling to industrial processing in Europe, KoiosTitan starts with the production and knowledge center in the Netherlands. From here, the scaling up in Europeand then in the rest of the world will be supervised.
