However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@koiostitan.com, and we will delete this information.

Sharing personal data with third parties

KoiosTitan does not provide information to third parties without your explicit consent, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

Automated decision-making

KoiosTitan does not make decisions based on automated processing regarding matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, an employee of KoiosTitan).

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

KoiosTitan uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone upon your first visit to this website. KoiosTitan uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website function correctly and to optimize it.

We use the WP Statistics plugin to analyze our website traffic. WP Statistics stores all data on our own server and does not pass it on to third parties. Below, we describe which data we collect via WP Statistics, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We do not collect or store any information that can personally identify you.

This implies the following:

  • No cookies: We do not place tracking cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
  • Anonymized IP: Your IP address is anonymized and securely processed (e.g., hashed) so that it cannot be reversed to identify you.
  • Aggregated statistics: We only track general activities, such as page views or the country of access.
  • Local Storage: All data is stored locally on our server; we never share it with third parties.

More information about the cookies we use and how to adjust them can be found here.

You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings. Use the “Help” function of your browser for this.
