The Compressite® chain begins at the moment composite materials are released. This material is sourced from, among others:

Wind turbine blades & GRP pipes

In the coming decades, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of wind turbine blades and GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) pipes will reach end-of-life. These materials are currently often landfilled or incinerated.

Train interiors and boat hulls

Train interiors are often extensively refurbished and discarded halfway through their lifecycle. Polyester boats, mainly from the leisure sector, are frequently left on land or in the water at the end of their usable life, awaiting a viable solution.

Drilling platform components

The decommissioning of offshore platforms generates large amounts of thermoset waste. Due to its resistance to seawater, this material is commonly used in pipes, grating, and equipment housings.

Production waste and other residual materials

Manufacturers of thermoset products sometimes generate significant amounts of production waste. This material can also be recycled.

During our production process, the material is mechanically processed without losing its structural properties. In this process, every part of the material is reused: from the large fibers to the smallest dust particles. The result is a stable and strong material that is immediately ready for high-performance product applications.

KoiosTitan organizes raw material sourcing, product development, and manufacturing within a single chain. This creates a fully closed material loop: old composite forms the foundation for new products, which in turn can be reintroduced into the same process.

Base Material

Where the cycle begins

The KoiosTitan cycle begins with thermoset composite materials sourced from vessels, aircraft, automobiles, train carriages, and wind turbine blades, among others. Today, these materials can rarely be processed circularly and often end up as waste.

These residual streams are the very foundation of our solution. By repurposing them, we transform a growing waste problem into a valuable source of raw materials.

In the future, this stream will be further expanded to include composites from consumer products – such as high-end packaging, skis, and kitchen appliances – making the chain increasingly comprehensive.

The Process

From complex waste to high-performance raw material

The collected materials are meticulously processed and combined according to a specific formulation to create KoiosTitan material. Through this process, complex composites are transformed into a new, consistent, and high-performance raw material.

Thanks to our exclusive technology, we create a material that is not only technically reliable but also perfectly suited for large-scale industrial applications.

The true strength of this process lies in its repeatability: the material maintains its quality and can be reintroduced into the cycle time and time again.

Our Products

Sustainable applications without compromise

KoiosTitan material is used to manufacture structural products for a wide range of applications, including solutions for construction, infrastructure, and industrial environments.

The material serves as a high-quality alternative to traditional raw materials such as tropical hardwood, concrete, and steel – without the environmental drawbacks.

Our products are characterized by a long service life, minimal maintenance requirements, and robust performance under diverse conditions. In this way, we combine sustainability with practical functionality.

The Future

A closed loop without end

The cycle does not stop after use. At the end of their lifecycle, KoiosTitan products are reprocessed into new raw materials without any loss of quality.

This creates a fully closed-loop system where materials remain in continuous circulation – eliminating waste and preventing the depletion of new raw materials.

Our ambition is to scale this circular chain to a European level, making a lasting impact on how we manage composite materials.

As a result, KoiosTitan materials remain relevant not only today but stay fully available for future generations.

3 key benefits

Three reasons why the KoiosTitan Cycle Leads in circular material innovation

KoiosTitan is dedicated to closing the loop for thermosetting composite materials on a European scale. Using exclusive and globally protected technology, we bridge the gap between innovation and industrial application. Our goal is to repurpose a substantial portion of European thermoset material as a high-performance, circular raw material within five years.

Infinitely reusable

KoiosTitan materials can be reused indefinitely without any loss of quality, creating a fully closed-loop system.

High-performance alternative

A sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood, concrete, and steel—offering a long service life and minimal environmental impact.

Scalable circular impact

Developed for large-scale industrial applications across diverse sectors, ranging from construction to infrastructure.
