The Compressite® chain begins at the moment composite materials are released. This material is sourced from, among others:
Wind turbine blades & GRP pipes
In the coming decades, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of wind turbine blades and GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) pipes will reach end-of-life. These materials are currently often landfilled or incinerated.
Train interiors and boat hulls
Train interiors are often extensively refurbished and discarded halfway through their lifecycle. Polyester boats, mainly from the leisure sector, are frequently left on land or in the water at the end of their usable life, awaiting a viable solution.
Drilling platform components
The decommissioning of offshore platforms generates large amounts of thermoset waste. Due to its resistance to seawater, this material is commonly used in pipes, grating, and equipment housings.
Production waste and other residual materials
Manufacturers of thermoset products sometimes generate significant amounts of production waste. This material can also be recycled.
During our production process, the material is mechanically processed without losing its structural properties. In this process, every part of the material is reused: from the large fibers to the smallest dust particles. The result is a stable and strong material that is immediately ready for high-performance product applications.
KoiosTitan organizes raw material sourcing, product development, and manufacturing within a single chain. This creates a fully closed material loop: old composite forms the foundation for new products, which in turn can be reintroduced into the same process.
Three reasons why the KoiosTitan Cycle Leads in circular material innovation
KoiosTitan is dedicated to closing the loop for thermosetting composite materials on a European scale. Using exclusive and globally protected technology, we bridge the gap between innovation and industrial application. Our goal is to repurpose a substantial portion of European thermoset material as a high-performance, circular raw material within five years.
Infinitely reusable
KoiosTitan materials can be reused indefinitely without any loss of quality, creating a fully closed-loop system.
High-performance alternative
A sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood, concrete, and steel—offering a long service life and minimal environmental impact.
Scalable circular impact
Developed for large-scale industrial applications across diverse sectors, ranging from construction to infrastructure.
